Stop paying $25 a video for UGC you can’t use.

Shotgun finds micro-creators worth messaging, reaches them at a human pace from your own machine, and keeps every reply in one inbox. A real desktop app for Mac and Windows — not another browser tab.

The actual app

Already running on macOS.

This is a screenshot, not a rendering — the unified inbox, with replies from every connected account, a drafted response, and the deal state for the thread you’re reading.

The number that actually matters

Cost per usable asset, not cost per video.

You message 100 creators. Twenty reply, twelve deliver, six are worth running. Every failure is priced into the six that worked — which is why your real number is nowhere near the rate card. Sending more messages doesn’t fix that. Picking better creators does.

Three things, done properly

Research. Send. Reply.

01

Research

Search by niche, sound, hashtag or a competitor’s handle. Every creator gets a fit score built from engagement, cadence, whether they’ve done brand work, and whether you can actually reach them — not follower count.

02

Send

Sequences that open by naming the video you actually watched. New accounts start at 5 messages a day and ramp over two weeks. Sends cluster like a person’s day, and stop the instant something looks wrong.

03

Reply

Every reply across every account in one inbox, sorted into interested, rate question, not now. Each thread carries a drafted response and the deal state, from first contact to an asset you’d actually run.

Why it’s an app, not a website

It runs on your machine. That’s the whole point.

Cloud outreach tools log into your accounts from a datacenter, on an IP you’ve never used, in a browser that isn’t yours. That mismatch is what gets accounts restricted. Shotgun works from your computer, your network, your browser profile — so there’s no fingerprint to fake.

Your session never leaves

You sign in on the platform’s own page, inside the app. The session goes straight into Keychain or Credential Manager. Our servers never receive it — a breach of us is not a breach of you.

No proxies to rent

No residential IP bill, no per-account infrastructure creeping onto your invoice. Your own connection is the most legitimate one available.

You can watch it work

A live view shows the automation running in real time, at human pace, with the daily cap on screen. You never have to take our word for what it’s doing to your account.

Pricing

Pay per connected account.

One account is one price. Agencies running ten pay for ten. No seats, no tiers, no feature gates — everything is included at every level.

$59 then $59 / account / month
  • Half off your first month. $30 instead of $59, per connected account.
  • That month starts at launch. Charged today, but it runs from September 22 — so you lose nothing by buying early.
  • Add an account during that month and it’s $30 too. Cancel any time.
  • TikTok, Instagram and YouTube, on macOS and Windows
  • Creator search, fit scoring and email enrichment
  • Sequences, unified inbox and drafted replies

One creator who actually converts pays for a year of this. That’s the entire pitch.

Built because I needed it

I ran this by hand for my own app first.

Shotgun started as the scripts I used to promote Kakitori, a Japanese writing app. Over three weeks in August I contacted 699 creators, signed 26 to affiliate links, and those links brought in 470 signups. Four of the 26 produced every single dollar — which is exactly why the product scores creators before it messages them.

Questions

Before you pre-order

What exactly am I paying today?

$30 per connected account, charged now — half the standard $59. That buys your first month, and that month runs from September 22 rather than from today, so buying early costs you nothing. From October 22 it bills at $59 per account per month, and you can cancel before then or at any point after.

Is automating DMs against the platforms’ terms?

TikTok and Instagram don’t offer an outreach API, so yes — automated messaging sits outside their terms, the same as every tool in this category. That’s why the caps exist, why new accounts ramp over two weeks, and why the app halts an account the moment it sees a block signal rather than retrying into it. The email lane is fully compliant if you’d rather not touch DMs at all.

Will my account get banned?

Running from your own machine and network removes the biggest single risk, and the pacing is deliberately conservative — 5 a day to start, 30–40 at the ceiling. Nobody can promise you zero risk, and anyone who does is selling you something. Use a secondary account if you’re nervous; plenty of people do.

Does my password go to your servers?

No. You sign in on the platform’s real login page inside the app, two-factor and all. The session is written to your Mac’s Keychain or Windows Credential Manager and is never transmitted to us.

What if it isn’t ready on the 22nd?

You’ll get an email saying so with a new date, and your paid month still doesn’t start until the app is in your hands. If you’d rather not wait, reply to that email and we refund the pre-order in full. The macOS build already runs — the screenshot above is the real app.

Do I need one account or several?

One is enough to start. Each connected account has its own daily ceiling, so agencies running several brands add accounts to add throughput. Set the number at checkout; during your discounted first month each extra account is $30, and $59 after that.

First month $30, not $59.

One field, then Stripe. Takes under a minute.
